it was a drunken, bloodied and bruised trip around the sun. i got the piss knocked out of me a few too many times for my own good. it leaves a man bitter and full of cynicism. for the first time i can remember i’ve been doing more fighting than i have reconciling. but hey, it’s always darkest before the dawn, right?
